Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son daughter of Richard McCormick. The mother of the child was home and also mother to her children. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three oldest brothers. McCormick has always loved dancing, singing and putting on performances with puppets. At the age of six, McCormick old, she won her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency approached her and asked her whether she would like to enter show business. McCormick was offered her first major task when she was cast in the commercial for television that was broadcast in 1964 of Mattels new baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. Later that year she did another commercial for the companys Chatty Cathy doll and was soon cast in the play Wind It up until It Breaks on stage at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won the 1969 audition of more than 1200 children to become the youngest of three twin daughters in The Brady Bunch TV series The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed together with Robert Reed. It lasted five years. McCormick's autobiography Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was released in the year 2008. She revealed in it that McCormick was close to losing her virginity while on set of the series during its fifth season to Barry Williams. He was 19. She was just 16. It could have been as she describes. But, the time of our romance was not right.
