Rebecca Romijn is an American model and actress who is popularly known for portraying the character of 'Mystique' in the initial three-part episode of the American Marvel superhero series 'X-Men'. Romijn also appeared in another Marvel superhero movietitled 'The Punisher. The movie featured her as the character of Joan. Romijn was a model who started her modeling career in the beginning of the 1990s, has modeled for top brands like Christian Dior and Victoria's Secret. It was a long time that she modelled for big fashion houses but then resigned from that area of work in order to pursue her acting career. Romijn was more successful in her career on television that in Hollywood. She portrayed the character 'Alexis" in the comedy-drama "Ugly Betty' and later was the character 'Jessie Nichols' in 'NTSF:SD: SUV'.
